We’re thrilled to welcome Renée Rienties, the talented Dutch comic artist and illustrator, to Geek Village: Winter Tales 2025! 🎨❄️
Renée, a self-taught artist, made her professional debut in 2016 with the gag strip My Daily Life Comics. Since then, she’s created and illustrated numerous manga-inspired projects such as Oyasumi, Figments of Passion, and the Camille series. Her captivating style blends mystery, thriller, and horror — all infused with her deep love for manga and comics. 📚✨
Beyond her art, Renée plays an important role in the manga community as mangacoordinator and curator for The Big Draw Nijmegen, and she’s contributed to high-profile projects, including Formula 1 promotional illustrations. 🏁🔥
